Rita Wong

Rita Wong is a registered Chiropractor from Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from the renowned Royal Melbourne Institution of Technology (RMIT) University’s School of Chiropractic. Originally from Hong Kong, her family migrated to Australia and she finished her secondary and tertiary studies in Melbourne. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

While in Australia, Rita played an integral role in the community service project “Hands on Health Australia”, providing chiropractic care to the surrounding communities, as well as providing paediatric chiropractic care in RMIT’s Paediatric Clinic.

First introduced to chiropractic care during her father’s battle with recurring low back pain, Rita saw first-hand how valuable chiropractic can truly be. From then on, her interests in chiropractic grew further and she chose to become a chiropractor. She practices with the philosophy of not only treating her patients effectively, but educating them as well. You will often hear her say 'to prevent is a step ahead of treatment.'

Since her early childhood, she has been exposed to the warm hospitality of Malaysian friendship and culture, so it comes as no surprise that she found a Malaysian husband too! She loves to travel the region and has a huge passion for scrap-booking; a great way to record the special places, events, and moments she has experienced so far.

Rita strongly believes in order to target the problems, it is important to look at the underlying causes. She feels truly honoured to be in Malaysia and be part of the My Spine Centre team by helping Malaysians realize their health potential and achieve more in life.

Please feel free to contact Rita if you have any questions/ concerns on how chiropractic can help you. She can be reached by email at dr.ritawong@myspinecentre.com.
